Wedding Photography Contract
This Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") is made and entered into as of January 1st 2024 by and between Snyder Photography, based out of Newark, Delaware (hereinafter referred to as "Photographer") and [Client Name(s)] residing at [Client Address] (hereinafter referred to as "Client(s)").
WHEREAS, Photographer is a professional photography business and Client(s) is/are planning a wedding and desires to engage Photographer to provide photography services for the wedding.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein, the parties agree as follows:
1. Services
Photographer agrees to photograph Client(s)' wedding on September 1st at [Wedding Location] (hereinafter referred to as the "Event"). The specific services to be provided by Photographer are outlined in the chosen Wedding Photography Package (Standard). A copy of the Package is attached to this Agreement as Exhibit A.
2. Payment
Client(s) agrees to pay Photographer a total fee of $1,400 for the services outlined in the Package.
A non-refundable deposit of twenty-five percent (25%) of the total fee, amounting to $350, is due upon booking the date with Photographer.
An additional twenty-five percent (25%) of the total fee, amounting to $350, is due three (3) months prior to the Event date.
The remaining fifty percent (50%) of the total fee, amounting to $700, is due one (1) week prior to the Event date.
3. Cancellation
In the event Client(s) cancels this Agreement more than ninety (90) days prior to the Event date, the deposit of $350 will be refunded.
If Client(s) cancels this Agreement less than ninety (90) days but more than thirty (30) days prior to the Event date, fifty percent (50%) of the total fee will be due to Photographer.
If Client(s) cancels this Agreement less than thirty (30) days prior to the Event date, the entire fee will be due to Photographer.
In the unlikely event that Photographer is unable to perform services due to reasons beyond their control (e.g., illness, accident), Photographer will use reasonable efforts to secure a substitute photographer of comparable skill. If a substitute photographer is not available, Photographer will refund all monies paid by Client(s) under this Agreement. Photographer shall not be liable for any other damages arising from such cancellation.
4. Editing and Delivery
Photographer agrees to edit a selection of the final images from the Event and deliver them to Client(s) in a digital format (e.g., online gallery) within [6-8] weeks of the Event date. The number of final images delivered will be determined by the chosen Wedding Photography Package.
5. Copyright
Photographer retains all copyrights to the photographs taken during the Event. Client(s) is granted a non-exclusive license to print and share the photographs for personal use.
6. Additional Considerations
Client(s) agrees to provide Photographer with a detailed timeline of the wedding day, including ceremony and reception times, locations, and key events.
Client(s) agrees to designate a point of contact who will be responsible for coordinating with Photographer on the day of the Event.
Photographer is not responsible for capturing specific moments or individuals if such moments or individuals are not readily accessible during the Event.
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements.
7. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware.
8. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

What's Included:
Engagement Session: (Up to 2 hours) We'll meet for a relaxed and fun engagement shoot at a location of your choice. This is a fantastic opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera and break the ice before the wedding day. You'll receive a beautiful online gallery with all the edited images, perfect for save-the-dates or social media announcements.
Wedding Day Coverage: (8 hours) We'll be there to capture all the moments you cherish, from the anticipation of getting ready to the tearful ceremony and the unforgettable reception. This includes:
Getting Ready: Capturing the excitement and anticipation as you prepare for the ceremony, documenting candid moments with family and friends.
Ceremony: We'll ensure every precious detail and emotion of your ceremony is beautifully captured, with both main photographer and second photographer coverage for diverse perspectives.
Family Formals: We'll efficiently capture cherished family portraits with a gentle and guiding approach.
Reception: From the first dance to the joyous celebration, we'll document all the energy and fun of your reception, capturing candid moments and planned events.
Unlimited Beautifully Edited Images: We understand the importance of preserving these memories in all their glory. We'll expertly edit all the captured images, delivering a final online gallery with unlimited, high-resolution, beautifully edited photos (number of final images will depend on the wedding day events).
Online Gallery: You'll receive a private online gallery for easy access and sharing of your wedding photos. Download and share your cherished memories with friends and family.
Printing Rights: We provide full printing rights, allowing you to print your photos at your preferred printing service and create beautiful keepsakes.
Additional Notes:
A pre-wedding consultation is included to discuss your vision, timeline, and any special requests you may have.
Travel within [reasonable distance, e.g., 50 miles] of our studio is included. Travel beyond this radius may incur additional fees.
We use professional-grade equipment and backup systems to ensure the safety and quality of your photos.
This package is perfect for couples who want comprehensive wedding day coverage, beautiful engagement photos, and unlimited, professionally edited images to cherish forever.
